I got this book to read and review from Paranormal Romance & Urban Fantasy Fanatics! I just want to start by saying I liked this book a lot. It was like a breath of fresh air. But I had some problems with the way the author sprung things on us. I just started reading when I was plunged into a vision. The romance between the main characters came the same way. The Indian spirit, Bree's powers, Carrie's abilities-they all left me reeling. The other issue I had was the lack of detail on Dan's team. They were such an interesting bunch and I would have liked to know more about them other than so and so "knew a lot of guys". Other than that I really liked the book, especially Rebecca's pain, her failure to cope and how she became a misfit..that was all beautifully described. Looking forward to the next installment!
